Mirandaola Bloomery (Legazpi)

A hydraulic iron works, or bloomery, from the 16th century, where visitors can see the functioning and importance that bloomeries had in Euskal Herria. The tour is completed with a video describing the difficult living conditions of blacksmiths and their mastery when working with iron.

Contents of the Tour: The tour visits the Basque Iron Museum and then the Bloomery.

Opening Times:
- From Holy Week to September, available every Sunday: Basque Iron Museum + Bloomery. 12:00 (Basque language) and 13:00 (Spanish).
- From October to Holy Week: tours on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Basque Iron Museum + Bloomery (with video), 12:00 (Basque language) and 13:00 (Spanish).

- Basque Iron Museum + working Bloomery (with blacksmith's pintxo or snack): general 7 euros; concession, 6 euros.
- Basque Iron Museum + Bloomery (with video): general 4,-€. concession 3,5,-€.
- Children under 10, free.

It is advisable to reserve a spot at the Mirandaola Tourism Office.
