Region
The region of Urola Garaia is south of Gipuzkoa, on the folds of Aizkorri National Park, and is made up of the following municipalities: Ezkio-Itsaso, Legazpi, Urretxu and Zumarraga. This region is tightly linked to industrial activities, but also to agriculture and herding, activities that are reflected in different cultural and gastronomic manifestations.
Who are we?
UGGASA (Urola Garaiko Garapenerako Agentzia, S.A.) is a Commercial Development Agency started in 1994, and promoted by the Urola Garaia Commonwealth. Its objective is to contribute to the cohesion and sustainable socio-economical development of the region, and for this, it places special emphasis on the tourism sector.
